THE RIGHT PRIORITIES

What is Job #1 for the Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD? Increasing the quality of public school education, so that students can perform to the best of their abilities, and reach for their dreams. There is no more important goal for Trustees than to foster an outstanding learning environment.

We need to attract and keep the very best educators and administrators, so that our children get an outstanding education from professionals who care about their futures. We need to provide the resources our schools need in order to create a vibrant atmosphere of learning and achieving.

Even if private school voucher schemes become a reality in Texas, it is up to us to fight for fully funded pubic schools. We have to be vigilant and clearly communicate our needs, so that our schools are funded and our children get the educations they deserve.
